Why has no one done a Flash CS3 version of the brilliant Flex Alert class? It’s invaluable in debugging applications!
For this reason I’ve built my own lightweight Alert class which attempts to mimic the Flex version. Its extremely easy to use and has proved extremely useful in building my Flash apps.

You can use it any way you want - there aren’t any crediting requirements or any other requirements. I’m actually working on a much improved version of it at the moment (the current version was built solely for debug purposes) which should be available soon.
