Flash cs3 as2.0, loosing hope w/button rollout

have buttons that contain movie clips on rollover. need the rollout to play same clip in reverse. if possible i need the on release to goto fame on main timeline, the same in which the buttons are located. ive tried making the button a mc w/ a button inside but the button can only navigate to frames located within the timeline of the mc. ive spent many hours and am in desperate need of some good help…is there anyone out there?
