Hey, all! I doubt this is the “proper” forum to post this question, but hey… I am sure one of you will have an answer for me! (Or so I hope!)
Anyway, I found the Flash detection tool over here, and I am testing it on a new site. It seems to be working properly; however, the quality of the “detected” swf is quite poor in comparison to the natural swf.
Here be a screenshot from Firefox:
Flash detection » upper left; natural Flash code » bottom right
(Disregard that they are in odd locations… I set the div up with the width and height of the swf, and I did not delete the original Flash code… which of course I will do once I can get this issue figured out!)
Does anyone happen to have any suggestions as to how I can improve the quality of the “flash detection” file?
And here is the code I am using to make it run with the transparent bg
document.write(' <PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="xxx"> <PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"> <PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF> ');
document.write(' <EMBED src="xxx" quality=high wmode=transparent bgcolor=#FFFFFF ');
Thanks for your help!
