I have just switched back to my mac. While I was using a PC, I discovered an awesome application known as Flash Develop I was wondering if there is anything like it on a mac?
Nope. Amazing little tool, but hasn’t been ported and there is nothing comparable on OSX from what I’ve seen.
I bet there are editors… but none that have intellisense ect. Bootcamp or Parallels.
[whisper]They are probably very busy with getting set up for the new SDK, so it will be a while[/whisper]
Flex Builder? It’s free for students and there is a Mac version.
^That would work. I mean Flash Develop is just using the Flex SDK.
I wish they would release FX SDK 4
Well I can’t use Bootcamp or Parallels because im on powerpc. Do you know if there is like a plugin for TextMate that when I press crt+enter it launches the current project im working on in flash player.
Serves you right for switching to mac.
You should have at least gotten a slightly newer mac…oh well.
there’s a thread at the FD forums about doing it on Parallels… but too bad you can’t use it… just putting a heads up.
