I am trying to load some variables from this html/javascript doc that the engineers gave me to test. In the first link the variable is passed to the swf and loads in the textbox(Var1) at the root level, no problem.

In the second senario the Var1 text box is place within another MC so it can animate scroll across the screen but it doesn’t work. I can make it work when loading from a .txt file but not using this javascript.

anybody have a moment to look at this? This all is for a flash 5 player.
