Hey everyone,
Hopefully I am not covering old ground in this issue as I have been googling for the past 3 hours to try and find a solution to this problem, with no avail.
I am making a CD Folio and resume to give to a variety of design companies. It needs to work on both PC and Mac platforms. I published the projectors for PC and Mac and burnt a test CD. I got the PC end working fine. I tried it on a friends Mac however cannot load an external .swf.

From my searching I have found that there is or was a loadMovie () issue when going from PC > Mac which could be the cause. Is this still an issue with current 2009 flash players?

I also I found out later after I tested that the hqx format is effectively a mac zip and not the actual presentation(you can tell I’m not a Mac user:emb:). That means that running .hqx off a cd would have extracted the projector file elsewhere on the HD, loosing the loadMovie () file associations. Would it just be a matter of having this expanded projector file in the corresponding folder to work correctly? (Unfortunately I cant readily test this myself as my friend isn’t available, and I need to resolve the problem ASAP.)
I’m sure there would be dozens of people making CD folios for both PC and MAC platforms. Can/has anyone burnt a cross platform CD without needing a MAC?
Thank you in advance,
Daniel
