Thought i should share this:
I found a host that provides full shell access (a.k.a: Shared Dedicated) for $12 a month. www.redwoodvirtual.com
This combined with Red5(which is free), would enable you to test out development on a Flash Media Server(well, the open-source alternative) for free and also it would carry your regular hosting. http://osflash.org/red5
I Figured theres a couple hundred people here who wouldn’t mind being able to play with it without spending thousands of dollars:)
