hi!
i checked the tutorial on this site for flash detection, but unfortunately it is checking only flash player 6.0. i want one for multiple flash players, i.e. atleast for 7.0 and 8.0
please help!!

If you have the Flash Player 8, I strongly suggest that you use the official detection script. It is said to be as close to full proof as possible. You can find more information (straight from the source) here: http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/flash/articles/fp8_detection.html.
