I’ve been working on this website and I have few things run at the same time … this involves some animation importet from After effects (just small one for a button over effect) so it’s a movie that loops when over button, and another script animation, got another sliding in/out panel for audio menu nothing fancy … it all runs great when run in flash player smooth fast…great…
Then I test it in the browser … IE, Firefox … as soon as there is more than one animation running at the time(for example I open the panel and then rollover one of the buttons…) it slows down and kind of ruins the whole thing… it just looks bad …
What I don’t get is I’ve seen so many sites that have these visualisation effects done in AEff. and heaps of animation running for the portfolio section at the same time… all nice and smooth … what’s the problem ???
