Flash & Search Engines

I am a Flash site designer and my biggest problem is optimizing for search engines. I’ve read all the tricks and tips on a dozen sites and based on that info my Flash sites could NEVER be optimized! Unfortunately the majority of users are on Windows computers which means they are on Internet Explorer. IE has 5 to 6 layers of toolbars on it’s own. Over a short period of time these people end up adding a Google toolbar, a Yahoo toolbar, MSN toolbar, Pop Up Blocker toolbar, and so on and so on. When it’s all said and done, there’s about 30 pixels left for your site. - Not a big deal if your site is HTML and the page scrolls. But Flash sites are meant to be seen all at once - animations and all. So the only 2 options are - 1. build a site 30 px in heighth, or 2. have an enter button that opens a “pop-up” style window with NO toolbars so you can take advantage of the whole screen. The problem is, these “enter” pages are rejected by the major search engines. So what does a Flash designer do to optimize a site for search engines???
Anybody have any useful input???
Please help,
Oliver
