I have been chatting with people about building a shopping cart, a small number have said that it is very insecure to build a shop entirely in Flash, but building just part of it and then processing the last page of the form in a HTML page seems like a waste of time to me… Can Flash handle the entire store process? And is is secure? Also if the page runs in https://www.mystore.com, is that secure enough? Or does Flash need to be programmed to handle an SSL certificate?
Also saw this tutorial, but they talk about only using AS1 and not even looking at AS2… Is it pointless following this tutorial? Am I going to be building something the ‘incorrect’ way so too speak?
