OK… so this is what i am doing. i am building an all flash site for some socom clan. i have this big picture as the background and i want a menu down at the bottom. i want to make it when u click on a certain button on the menu… it starts zooming towards a certain area of that picture i have as a background. then when it finishes zooming… the site data will appear… anyone knowhow i can accomplish this zoom effect easily?
ummmmmmmmm… there is a AS for this but if your like me and don’t no AS just make each button have the background and upon pressing the button you could set a different zoom
While AS would be the most robust way to do this, you can just have your background image be a movie clip, within which you have different little sections of the image being tweened and zoomed to the spot you want.
Then when the user clicks the button, you have that button tell the image movie clip what frame to start at.
