Long time reader, first time poster. I have this problem and I have to create a Flash slideshow using 12 different images. The complication has come from having to have 4 images displayed at the one time, so I have created 4 .swfs each rotate 3 images to give me my 12. These .swfs are all drawing their data from seperate .xml files, and are all in different directories.
I now have one large .swf in which I would like to load the 4 .swfs, but can’t seem to do this. I have tried standard methods and tutorials that I have found and I either get an error message saying that the .xml file (where the image information is) cannot be found, or nothing at all. I also created a blank .swf and changed the colour of the stage and tried to add the to my large .swf, but had no luck.
I was just wondering if anyone might have a way I can do this, or have a better solution to create a slideshow. I thought of creating 4 seperate containers on the main page and seperate .xml files for each, but I couldn’t seem to work that one out. Any help is appreciated, let me know if you need any more information.
