I have created a full flash website. I have a domain name and a server through ftp. I know absolutely NOTHING about HTML or Javascript. The problem I’m having is that I want to make my site accessible from sites that I have to link to in order for them to link to me, as well as search engines. I now see that isn’t possible through flash. So I did some searching and found this tutorial and thought it would help: http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash5/publish.htm
Problem is, when I publish an HTML and then open it in TextEdit, the file is blank. So I can’t continue with the tutorial.
Am I going about this all wrong? Should I create an HTML version of my site? If so, how in the world do I do that? Any help is appreciated.
