First of all this is just an idea that I have a month ago. Before I work on it I am collecting some feedback. So if you love Wordpress, Flash and iPhone (or any other mobile device you want to show your site) this is a thread to share some ideas.
I have a problem. frequently I have an idea to update my site and do it with my iPhone using Wordpress App. That is just cool as that, but my flash site stays in hold for months before I have time to update it.
My idea is to build a flash site that catch content from Wordpress.
IF the site was accessed by a Flash Compatible Browser it will show the Flash Version;
ELSE IF the site was accessed by an mobile device it show the mobile version using XHTML AND CSS;
ELSE if it is accessed by weird browsers, robots or other things it should show the wordpress normal version.
This way I think we (Flash Lovers) can solve 2 different problems.
- easy dynamic update;
- seo site optimization.
