Is this noticeably faster than oldschool tweening? Just recently got Flash8 and I like to make animations with a lot going on. Often times with traditional tweening, the framerate tends to slow down when I have many animations going on at the same time.
Basically I want to make an effect that you are travelling through a tube with basic O rings increasing in size and position. While this is going on objects rotate around inside the tube and travel with you. Does that even make sense?
Before I get too long winded, is it worth the time to learn it? It looks powerful but I am new to 2.0 and had just basic knowledge of AS 1.0 (never built any game aps or anything).
