Can you be more specific as to where? Kirupa.com is a big site, it could be anywhere.

Maybe a direct link to the page you downloaded it from.

It has as .zip file you can download of his presentation.

There is no .fla file, the flash file used is just to demonstrate something.

Well it is simple basic tweens anyway.

The circles are just regular circles created with the circle tool, but the outline style was set to dashed. To do this you create your circle and click on the outline only, then open the properties panel (CTRL+F3) and change the line drop down box to the dashed one. Then you delete the fill inside.

Then you just do basic motion tweens to do the rotation.

Then the text is also just basic motion tweens with alpha change and such.

try to get your hands on swf decompiler, i think
you can get the .fla files from swf files, i’m not
sure but u can give it a try.

  1. I don’t agree with Decompilers, but they are not illegal, so do whatever.

  2. Since it is all tweens, there is really no point in using a decompiler

  3. Decompilers can’t recreate a .fla from what I hear. I beileve they can just show you the actions and symbols used or something like that. I am not 100% sure about that, but I am about 95% sure.
