I’ve worked with Flash 5 for about a year, switched to MX this year, but I never got to really learning actionscript.
I was doing the Random Letter Cycling 2.0 Tutorial, and I did it fine and stuff, I just have a few questions on additional effects.
If, for example, after all the letters have been picked out and the word created, I wanted the whole text to enlarge and dissappear for example, it says you’d do in in the ++.root command line or whatever, but I don’t understand how and where I should add effects.
So basically, can anyone tell me how to add an effect to make it enlarge and fade out, and where to put that in that particular Random Cycling movie.
My second question is this:
I’ve been trying to create various effects from the Matrix, and one of them was in the beginning, where the Matrix is continously scrolling, and it generates those numbers at the top: 5 5 5 5 0 6 9 0.
How would I be able to have the numbers/letters continuously generate randomly, but have the numbers (or letters) that I need, appear above the cycling numbers/letters?
