Font as graphics

I created a sample banner with a custom font I installed recently. I made the background first, then slapped the font & changed the fonts to “graphics”. But when I publish it and load it to see it on a different computer, I noticed it wasn’t the font that I made with. Is there something else I need to do so custom fonts can seen by all people?

Please help!!!

They need to have the font you used stored into their computer. You might want to use the break apart down to vector and then they will see it as vector, of course this brings up other issues…

Try imbedding the font outlines, you can controll which of the fonts are loaded in the file. But be careful as this can add to the final file size of your banner.

SPIII:skull:

if you have problems finding the “embed fonts” area…make sure the text box is set as “Dynamic” then hit the “Character” button on the far right…in there you can select which to embed, all chars or only certain chars etc…(maybe only the ones you using == smaller size! )

also, I believe that if it is a static text box and leaving “Use device fonts” is unchecked, that you’ll also embed the font, but I’m not sure about that…
