I usually have footers turned off as well mak. Speeds things up a lot. Especially when you come across a footer hosted by a server that’s down.

If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything
and yes, disabling footers did wonders…i don’t wait 10 minutes for 1 page to load so i can read 4 word posts and spam…

Probably because JS can be used in many bad ways as well, the perhaps it is disabled for footers. What would you need with JS in a footer anyway?
