For all u ppl who know more than just flash

Mhh Netstat - never knew about that - does it check all the outgoing packets ???

can someone remind me of the site to use to find the physical adress using the ip ( i might have searched the wrong way )

if you do netstat -h it will tell you all the different things you can check with it.
also, i dunno what site they were talking about, but if you go here
http://www.all-nettools.com/tools1.htm
and do a whois, it will look it up. if it’s a dynamic ip though, it will just tell you the isp’s info. although, i think that’s pretty standard, unless you really know your schtuff, it’s hard to get an exact location on a dynamic ip without going through the isp.

SUPER WEIRD…

well, i pinged this computers name in dos, and went to the allnettools site redgolgi put in my other post, typed in the ip that came up when i pinged myself, and got

192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
Internet Assigned Numbers Authority
4676 Admiralty Way, Suite 330
Marina del Rey, CA, 90292-6695
US

???

hehehehehh… twilight zone music.
if i were you i would look them up and see what they do…

See my post in the firewall thread. =)

Cheers!
