Hehe.

okay ill copy and paste it in
is there a way to identify someone by their aim sn? get their ip or something? i need to know becuase ppl keep annoying me/cussing at me with new sns. there so easy to make, and i have no clue whos doing it. can any one help?

Let me see if I got this right…

… you’re [visiting] at a hacking forum site and they’re e-molesting ya and you want retalliation technique/advice (???) :!:

confusion… :smirk:

no
ppl are “emolesting me” and i went to that forum for qays to find out who they r, not for retaliation

oh - ok [sry] … wasn’t sure from the sounds of it … :sure:

so, where is this e-molestation occurring ? … not here (?) I wouldn’t think…

on AIM!

start up a command prompt

Step 1:

Run -> cmd.exe

type: Netstat -a

look at everything there

Step 2:

direct connect with them on aim

again type: Netstat -a

look for something new, that is mostlikely their ip

That will get you their ip address

now, if you can find a demo of it, a Program called NeoTrace will find the geographical location of that ip address, and in most cases give you the street address, heh heh…

and hey, it even plots it on a world map, how nice

that helps but if they are a random person cussing at u they wont likely direct connect

couldnt even direct connect—every1 on firewall these days

if you think you know the e-mail address of the person(like someone u know is doing it) go

People -> Find A buddy -> By E-mail

enter their e-mail, and see if the harassing sn comes up

well if you want them to stop in prefs you can set it so taht if they are not on your buddy list they cant see you. if that helps any?

not really…

well i tryed. you want to know who they are, i was telling you how to block them on every screen name.

umm report it to aol?

yeah, theres pretty much no way of doing it without direct connecting and netstating or something of the like.
