How would I record sound from a Grand Piano clearly?
Like, where I would put the mics, in under the strings or above the grand piano.
This is what I want to do, i want your approval 
Two mics inside, under the strings, one near the fallboard (near the top) and one at the bottom. Then one out side, The room mics to pick up on the, shall i say, acousticy sound.
I would position the outside mic so its facing the grand piano when its open. No use havin the mic behind the door… duhh. lol
so what you think?
