Hello Everyone,
This is my first time at Kirupa and it seems like there are some very smart people working and going to Kirupa to help others out. So i had a VERY important question and would GREATLY appreciate your help.
Situation:
I’ve created a FLASH Demo at 20fps and the Time according to flash is 35.1seconds. I published an SWF and EXE file. When viewed in a flash player, I timed the demo and it was ~35s.
Problem:
When I exported an HTML file with the SWF embedded and TIMED the demo…it came out to be about 44 seconds. It actually looked as if it was going slower. WHAT’S THE PROBLEM? If the DEMO is created and is suppose to be 35 seconds, WHY IS THE FPS changed or WHY IS IT GOING SLOWER?
Machine:
I’m working on a P4 with 3.2 Ghz with 1.5 GB of RAM. The file is also viewed from the NETWORK DRIVE…so it’s not POSTED on the internet.
I’ve been experiencing this problem for a while now and think it’s about time I asked some FLASH professionals. Thank You. Looking forward to your replies.
Biren Patel.
