Frame rate slowdown

Hi,

When viewing a site i am makin on my pc, everything runs perfectly smoothly. But when I view the site on the web it slows down dramatically and seems very jerky.

I have the frame rate set at 50 in all of the individual movies and the container movie, but it appears to run much more slowly thant this. It appears to only effect Firefox, when i view it in IE it runs perfectly

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did they fix it?

I too am experiencing the same sort of problem. While local testing or running straight .swf, the movie runs fine.
Local in IE it runs fine, as expected.
BUT, online and local;loaded into HTML in Firefox it drives processor usage to 100%, which causes lag and slowdown.
(Also, the page code does not execute properly in Firefox as html address.EXAMPLE-The fly gallery loads thumbnails until list completed in IE or FLASH PLAYER, BUT will only load thumbnails while moving mouse in FIREFOX)

Is there some Firefox problem or set of code circumstamces that causes FLASH to not run properly in FIREFOX?

Part of the greatness of FLASH was its crossbrowser compliance.
What has gone wrong?

How can this be fixed?
Should / Can a plain .swf file be used as the main site page?
