I have a prob using these two programs, been having the problem for some time now but i’ve never had so much text to paste in flash that it bothered me (i’ve always manually straightened it out)
the prob:
when i copy-paste from freehand to flash the text boxes move quite a bit
(just enough that they aren’t centered any more -> about 20-25 pixels)!!!
Does anyone know how to fix this (i havent had problems with mx03)

try exporting then importing it into flash
nope, just won’t do…
tried pasting/importing(stage, library…) just cant get it to stay fixed 
it works normal with vectors/images

does everyone draw in flash?
Draw? I thought you were talking about text.
I was (am), but doesn’t anyone have problems with this?
(I assumed that if you draw in FH you put the text there too,
but obviously nobody does that

Well, I copied and pasted text from FH to flash, and everything lined up perfectly.
try grouping them then copying and pasting IN PLACE the into flash.
Might want to try to just jump to flash from within freehand, there is the jumpto button it should be up on the right side with all of the panels.

Doesn’t help you, but I’ve had the same problems. FH seems to be buggy as hell. I have a torrid time getting images from Flash to Freehand, so I do all my work in Flash instead (you can publish as images anyway) and don’t bother with FH unless I have to. It’s even worse with EPS - I’ve found flash will open the fine but FH won’t … grrr
FH is no match for Illustrator,IMO. But try this, export as a png, then import to “library”,not “stage” in flash. Sometimes that can make the difference.
