hi guys
i’ve e aproblem in freehand, i don’t know why i can’t do it and it’s so eay but when i did it it was not accurate.
in the image there are 2 objects i need to rotate the second from the point ( red circle) . can anyone help me. i tried to chnage registration point to the red point to rotate from this but i couldn’t ( the method to change the registration point is not accurate).
i’m waiting for your help
ok sorry if this is not accurate because i dont use freehand, but if you create guides for the registration point to snap to, will the registration point be more accurate then?
so in what programe you can help :h:
illustrator
ok, go ahead
? like i said above… all you would have to do is select the 2nd shape, press r on your keyboard with is rotation, move your registration point to the axes point(by left clicking on the area you want it) then click and drag the shape to rotate.
or after moving the registration point with the rotation tool selected you can press alt-left click and it will give you a option menu, where you can enter a angle to be more accurate.
btw:: do you use illustrator?
yea, sure
thanks soulty i did what you said and it’s better than FH.
i don’t know why freehand didn’t solve Grid problem like illustrator and Corel Draw.
anyway thanks for your help
no probs.
that can be done in FH as well. it just comes with knowing your tool. The help files have a big spill on registration point. I would not say one is better they both dothe same thing just in diff ways
