Fried minds series: Dimensions

Hi,
First of all i want to say sorry for the very bad english that you’re going to read. Is not my motherlanguage and i’ve never studied it very well.
The following are consideration that i’ve done by myself while studying for an exams at university; sincerly i’m happy to explain it here with people who i have never met before. It’s all about dimensions.
The common dimensions that we use are, as everyone knows, the first, the second, the third. My question is the following: Is our mind capable to really understand dimensions after the third? are we able to move through multi-dimensional spaces?, are we really soo passive?
As many knows, the 4th-dimension is assumed to be the time. And this is not hard to understand. if we imagine a point in a 3-dimensional space is easy to define it as a triple of numbers for the x,y and z axis. now we can add a new variable “t”, and say that (x,y,z,0) is different from (x,y,z,1). The same point in the same position is different in two …different times. Ok.
Now i come back to the zero-dimension. the zero-dimension, i think, is only “the” point. one point has no dimension. ok. this work. If i’m that point, and i live in a zero dimension, i can’t know that i could be a point living in a one dimesional system. Now i take the one dimension. there are two points who are joining and separating with a costant rithm. cool. i’m in one dimension. i can’t know that those two points are a circle, who is shifting through my dimension, going up and down. the story go ahead; the circle in the 2-dimensional space can’t know to be a sphere, wich is bouncing through the 2-dimensional space, but live in a 3-d space. Yes. that’s right. but now the definition given before of 4th-dimension appear to be wrong. in the previous examples i was using time as a natural component for moving the objects.
And what about the 5th-dimension?
Have i got to say that our head is restricted?. Or the cirlce in the 2nd dimension can know to be a sphere?
Is also proved in math the existence of infinite dimensions. Anyone who has ever follow some lessons of linear algebra knows that is possible to calculate, for example, the distance between two lines living in some n-dimensional space.
dimensions are only a convention of our minds?
Exist dimensions less then zero? (-1, -2 etc.).?no?why not?
