Anyone know a good and uncomplicated free FTP program for the Mac?
Downloaded a 15 day trial of CaptainFTP but obviously runs out in 2 weeks. Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks.
I used to use WS_FTP Pro which was simple to use or Smart FTP. But I just either use my host’s ftp manager or Dreamweaver’s FTP setup.
I think I’ve got cuteFTP on mine…
looking at the download page smartftp.com they don’t do a version for the mac
the ftp manager on dreamweaver has some bugs that just really annoy the hell out of me

The best ftp client on mac is fetch its the best because there arent many ftp clients for it, and its not free but its the best out there :-/
fetch is real good… but I use transmit… i like the GUI better

Fetch is a big one, but Ive been using transmit too. Seems to get the job done.
cyberduck works fine for me
or you can simply hit cmd-K in the finder.
(i use cyberduck though)
I use Transmit. The updates in 3.5 make it even more awesome.
It’s really cool… worth every penny.
