Full Justify

Hello all,

This is my first post on this forum. Kirupa.com is one of the finest sites around :beam: , but I have the following question.
When using a Dynamic Text Field and a scrollbar from the FUI Components, I’m no longer able to ‘Full Justify’ my text.
Everthing looks fine on the working screen, but when I test the movie it is no longer ‘fully justified’.
Can I do something about it, or is this a disadvantage from the FUI component?

Thanks for any remarks,
Suppi

'Sup Suppi?

If you mean ‘full justify’ like the text will strech from the left side of the text box to the right, I think you can do that in the properties panel of your dynamic text box.

There are four buttons to justify text; left, center, right, and the other one that I don’t know the name of. I guessing that’s what you mean by full. When I looked, that fourth button was hiding under the grey area on the right side. You may have to take out the properties panel from the ‘dock’ to access it.

Hope that helps!

Thank you boys,

So according to the old thread, it is not possible to see the effect of the fourth ‘Justify’-button when testing a movie. Too bad it kinda looks unprofessional (Fontsforflash.com has the same problem ~ even if you can call it a problem (-: )
For now, I think I’ll place my scrollbar on the left side of my text where the alignment is straight.

Cheers,
Suppi

I learned that too. I tried it on one of my sites and learned that the justify stays to the left when I used that fourth button. Hmmm…Sorry!

You can Fully justify your text, if you make your text render as html, you just need to add some html tags to the external .txt file.

Nope: sorry my bad, you can’t, What i found you can only left , right , and center justify the type using html tagging.
