ok well this time i dont think it’s vista’s fault. I installed the Adobe Light Room trial… it was working fine, just a bit slow, so i decided to restart. I was impatient so i just hit the power button and did a hard restart, i’ve never had problems doing that before. So now when i open lightroom it starts up ok, but once i click anywhere in the application it freezes. I’ve tried reinstalling, but it just says “invalid transform path. Verify the transform path” or something like that, and quits. I’ve tried un-installing, and get the same error. When i try to “change” it, it says it was installed incorrectly and the Adobe_Lightroom.msi file could not be found.
so it’s stuck on my computer, and it dosent work anymore. I called adobe (they answered on the second ring surprisingly) and they said that adobe does not support vista at this time and they can not assist me.
any of you guys have any ideas? i would like to get it working… but i would settle for just being able to uninstall it haha.
