I’m developing a site that requires a slideshow to display current events/news stories, such as the slideshows displayed on Gamespot, CNet, etc.
I want to make it dynamically updated, so that it pulls the image and text from a specified folder on the server. When the image and text are changed in the folder, I would like the SWF file to reflect this without having to go back into Flash to manually update the image and text.
I’ve seen ways to do something similar to this using XML, but wondered if anyone here knew of any resources or tutorials that explain how this can be done.
