Hey. I’m having a general computer problem, which is why I posted it here (I figured that since the thread was random, it wouldn’t be too much of a problem), and I also figured that Kirupa would be the best place to ask because everyone here is a friggin’ genius. SO…
When I go to certain pages, the page isn’t updated/refreshed, you might say. For example, on one site when I click on my messages, it pops up with the information from the last time I accessed the page. I then have to refresh to get the actual updated page. It’s especially annoying when I reply to a message. When I go back to the message page, the message is still marked “unread,” which often times leads me to think I haven’t answered them…or just gives me one considerable episode of double-taking.
I’ve had this problems with a few websites, but not all of them, which leads me to believe that my computer is being retarded and storing the information from the page for quick loading.
Did any of that even make sense? I’m pretty sure this is just me being retarded or something, so forgive me if this is something that anyone with half a brain could figure out.
In any case, if you have any idea what I’m talking about, could you help me out? Thank you!
