hey yall. anyone ever use an old stencil thing the was made of different sized gears that you would put a pencil in a hole and spin the gears with the pencil and it would come out with perfect geometric shapes and designs and you could put the templates in different varibles to come up with unique shapes i remember using it in first grade and havent been able to find anything like it 
anyone have any idea to what it is or was called?

and i think it was made of circle shapes only cuz the gears would rotate inside one another to make these shapes
