Hi all,
Im trying to get an external parameter value from the object tag for my flash movie like the “externalParamValue” function in Director.
I have no control over the HTML pages so i cant use the externalInterface class to interact between my flash and the HTML and i cant tag variables onto the flash url like this “?mytext=something” either.
Ive looked around the net and it doesn’t seem possible to do this with Flash. Does anyone have any ideas or different ways to do this?
Im pretty sure the answer is no but it never hurts to ask…
