I want to know if theres a tute on creating a glass look in flash.

where exactly is the glass effect in the example?
I think Optimus is referring to the bar at the top. You can create that effect using photoshop.

You mean on the top on the animated banner? That’s a photoshop thing. From the looks of it just a white area made partially transparent.
You could replicate that in Flash with a gradient fill symbol with an alpha fade applied to it…
yeh i was referring the lara croft pic, (banner) see i know some of it was in photoshop like the border. but the glass effect was done in flash… thx guys on the tutes
sorry for double post, but electron u nailed it on the head…thx bro… !! but what if I like to have some animated text in the back groung, can i just import the photoshop to flash?
yeah just import the glass piece into flash and have the animated text on a layer below the glass image.
