Can anyone help show me how to make glowing text in Flash MX 2004 or let me know if it is not possible. Thank you for any help.

Usually to achieve this effect in flash versions prior to 8 we had to fake it using PNG sequences created with photoshop or with a movie file created with After Effects and then imported into flash. Kind of a pain really
Yeh, I would use PNG’s. There isn’t really an easy way.

thats a horrible glow effect though compared to flash 8’s glow filter or photoshoping it
