Google has brought Gmail’s end-to-end encryption to Android and iPhone, so Workspace Enterprise Plus users with Assured Controls can now send and read encrypted mail in the app instead of being stuck on the web.

Good to see E2EE finally arrive in the Gmail Android and iOS apps for Enterprise Plus with Assured Controls. The web-only setup was a pain when you were away from a desktop.
It still feels pretty niche since it’s locked to that specific Workspace tier.
