Recently I attempted to install the trial versions for both Fireworks MX 2004 and Flash MX 2004 (mostly since I wanted to try and open a bunch of files, but also since I wanted to see them). First off, Macromedia’s support site is incredibly crappy: every time you want to look for something specific it brings you back to the same page, and once you actually find it, the link is BROKEN!
Flash MX 2004’s installation worked (after a few attemps), which is a relief, because my computer sucks. But as soon as I started it up… YOUR TRIAL PERIOD HAS ENDED. What? I had seen something about this on the site… so after a few minutes of searching, I found it. Broken link. THANK YOU! And Fireworks MX 2004 didn’t even work. Two uninstallations later I was quite ticked off.
Macromedia, don’t let me lose faith in you, FIX YOUR STUPID SITE!
