Now that I’m all decked out with my new PowerBook, where’s a good place to download some cool Mac programs and/or anyone have any suggestioins for programs?
you cant get any programs for Mac because it’s not compatible with anything 
lol jk. http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/ seems to be the best place. categories are on the right hand side :thumb:
edit: btw, you spelled MAC in capitals. wrong. it’s not an acronym, it’s an abbreviation for Macintosh. so, spell it ‘Mac’ :mu:

Hmm… A lot of good programs on there, Ya3, but they are all demos/shareware… I’m a poor college kid that just spent all his money on a powerbook. I need some free stuff!! lol
but there are some freewares on there…
anyway, i found this:
click a category, then scroll to the bottom of the page where it says ‘All Licenses’ and change it to ‘Free’. That’ll filter out all non-freeware.
oh, and get VLC (VideoLan Player) if you dont already. it plays almost all video formats - including DivX, XviD, etc, etc…
