Only advantages come out of it, you will get email, docs, calender, sites etc. Also you get the full power of gmail with out an unprofessional email address.
ok, so my client has gone ahead and set up her email as the apps mail…what would happen if i was to set up the same email address in my hosting??
not quite sure of the working as how google apps mail can set up an email to a specific domain name me@mydomain.com
You have to essentially give google rights to take over your email addresses. It’s a sort of messy technical process but it’s totally worth it.
couldn’t you just forward all incoming mail from your domain email to gmail?
*edit: all this app talk and jargon has confused faster beyond all recognition…
