I’ve got a double test-grade graded discussion tomorrow for English, over A Lesson Before Dying. I read the book and all, but I never talk in the class… seriously, she calls me “Jeffrey,” because she has no idea who I am.
I’ve tried preparing by writing up some potential questions and answers, but she doesn’t even define a criteria on which she’s grading, except that it’s relative to the rest of the class, and that you ought to talk several times.
I hate these so much… how do you prepare? And, how do you say dumb things without making them sound dumb?
