This is an attempt at an effect I saw while crawling the web. The zip contains 2 .fla (Flash 8) files and a .as Class file. Each is a different application of a Pseudo Physics Class, what is still needed is methods for Inertia (or Momentum), Friction and/or a way to add Elasticity.

UPDATE: Elasticity has been added and is selectable form the interface (Although the continuous oscillation would probably induce epilepsy :sen: ), Methods have been made more re-usable but still no friction and forces are still method specific. The Class Name has been changed in accordance with other changes - force now increases linearly from the center of the sphere instead of inversely and it creates an effect closer to the motionGrid* style.
