Grouping Issue in Swift 3d :(!

Help! I’m going to pull out my hair this is so frustrating :scream: I don’t get it no matter what I try :(! so here’s the basics of it…I have a gear (which is formed of a torus and a flattened circle + 12 individual teeth surrounding it). The torus and flattened circle are grouped fine but when I try to shift click all the teeth to group them I get up to about 9 if I’m lucky and then deselects :a:. (sometimes it does it after 2 or 3 even!). Is this because there is a limit to the number of objects you can group together? I even tried splitting it into two groups of 9 and 3. Oh yeah and also can you group two groups together? It also doesn’t seem to like that idea either :(…I’ve attached the file as well as a screenshot so you can get a better idea…does anyone know How I can just get EVERYTHING in there grouped together?(That way I will be able to apply a simple 360 animation afterwards). Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Fargate

EDIT: I forgot to mention another problem is every so often when I’m trying to group it a message pops up and says:

Warning: Removing Animated Group

This action cannot be undone and will result in the loss of the group’s animation.

Would you like to proceed with removing the group?
(If you answer ‘No’, group the objects before continuing).

              [YES] [NO]

I assume it’s referring to the gear (torus + flattened circle) because it’s already has an animation. But I’m clicking on the teeth not that really. Besides that should cause a conflict should it? It’s all very confusing to me :h::P!
