Hi, I am trying to develop a guestbook, possibly using xml, so that fields can be inputed, sent into the xml file, and then read back by flash and displayed. Any ideas where I can find a tutorial to do this? I am proficient in flash and actionscripting, but xml data transfer will be a first for me. Any help is greatly appreciated!

yes, i tried searching, but found some entries in other sites, not kirupa. I’ve tried following some other tutorials, and they were not as good as the ones posted by kirupa or kirupa members. For now i’ve been trying to get a simple php guestbook to work, but with not much luck. I was just wondering if anyone remembered a thread off the top of their heads that dealt with that.

And if I remember right, Flashkit had a good one for php/txt files [size=1](can’t be bothered to look for it)[/size] and flash-db had one for mx2004 with php and mySQL.
thanks a lot! I did get that php/text file one working well, but I think I will attempt the xml one as well, because I need the practice… haha. Thanks for the input.
