Am I right in thinking that if you want to create a site that has preloaders for each section, that you have to create individual SWF for each section and give each one a normal preloader? E.G.
MAIN SITE
GALLERY – SHOP – CONTACT
when each button is clicked they load an external SWF with a preloader etc?
Is this the best way of doing this?

you can do that or have a transition mc which plays between movie loads and has a preloader in it… i believe there’s a good tute on this at kirupa.com. So far I’ve usually just had a preloader in my external .swfs. you really only see it the first time you load that .swf since the browser caches it for the 2nd time. probably many ways to do it.
yeah i think that using preloaders on external preloaders is the best way to go about it also.
