actionscript isn’t something that can be explained in a single answer. Try doing the tutorials on this site, that’ll give you a good start. 
lobstars is right. Actionscript is the programming language of flash. in order to learn actionscript make sure you know the basics of flash. Tweening, using MovieCLip Buttons, etc… then try some of the actionscript tutorials on this site, and then ask questions.
