Help loading .swf into flash website

Okee dokiee, I hope someone can help, or at least push me in the right direction.

I’m working on a new flash for my own website. I’m doing pretty good and learning all the way, EXCEPT.

I’ve got the source code for and action script based animation I found on www.levitated.net. I thought it was a beautiful effect and after changing some symbols around, PRESTO! Cool effect. You can see it on my website at www.enefem.com.

This is my problem. I have no problem calling the .swf file into a Flash Movie, but I can’t import it. I wanted to alter the Alpha so I could insert my content text over it. No can do. Flash imports the swf all crooked. So now I’m thinking of calling the swf from the root into the movie, but I face this problem -

How can I (if at all) control the appearance of the swf, and then insert content text to appear in the foreground.

Or am I SOL.

Did you try loading it into a Movie Clip? when you do you can set the propertys like xscale and so forth

I don’t have a problem loading it into the movie. I’m just trying to figure out how to alter the alpha of the swf, so I can insert my content text over it.

I want the background to be the action script animated swf and the foreground to be my content text. So here’s another question, can I load one swf as a background, and another swf as foreground?
