Hi. Im using flash cs3 and im designing a basic sound bar. I have the main movie clip on scene 1, inside that movieclip i have a open/close button to open the sound bar or close it. i have the menu that is in another movieclip which contains play, stop button and an equaliser for when the play button is pressed. the problem is that when u open the menu, press play, it shows the equaliser which i want, but when i shut the menu and re open it, the song is still playin but the equaliser is not there. Its almost like it reloads the movieclip when the shut button is pressed even though the equaliser and play stop buttons are in a seperate movieclip that is set no to gotoandplay frame 1. ive tried everything but im not too up on my a.s so im using basic gotoAndPlay methods etc. I desperatly need help with this.
