Help on Creating Flash Menu

my boss is requesting me to make a similar menu like this site :


look on the left side, when you click it it goes down and the other items just close and what my boss wants is that when you click something the link changes colors so it will be determined that your on that page

my menu consists of a main menu then a sub menu then a sub sub menu

do you want to do the whole menu or just the click-and-change-color-thing?

both dude, am having a hard time creating it

Do you want it to be XML-based or not?
It’s much better to load the menu from a xml-file if you want to edit it alot.
How experienced are you with flash?

well pretty experience, i guess but more on the animation side but barely in action script…yeah xml is good…:p:
